If Google says your business is located inside another business, but it’s not, it’s probably an algorithm error caused by location proximity.

This error happens in Google Maps instead of your GBP directly. Usually happens in big cities with lots of places very close to each other. Their algorithm gets confused by nearby businesses and/or landmarks.
Also, Google often triggers the “Located in” tag if your business shares a main entrance or a lobby with another company. The algorithm assumes you are a sub-department instead of a separate entity.
Other guides may tell you to “edit your address” directly within your Google Business Profile Dashboard or “adjust the map pin“. But in my experience helping businesses, those options didn’t work.
You basically have only 2 options to fix this issue. Suggest an edit directly from Google Maps or contact Google support for a direct fix.
Make Suggested Edits on Google Maps
The easiest way to fix this issue without having to go back and forth with Google Support is to “suggest an edit” from Google Maps.

To get a successful outcome, try doing this from multiple Gmail accounts through multiple unique devices. This tells Google, “Hey, lots of people are saying this is wrong!” This raises the chances of the fix happening.
Extra Tip: For this method, if possible, the multiple Gmail accounts should have the “local guide” tags to raise the credibility of the suggested edits.
Contacting Google Business Support
You can contact Google Business support by typing “my business” directly in Google search. This will open your GBP dashboard. Then try to find the “contact options” to start a live chat, get a call, or email support.

If you choose to contact Google support, one of the main things the support staff will ask for is a video of an uninterrupted path from the street’s sidewalk into your business.
Besides photos and videos showing how you enter your business, they may also ask for specific documents. Have bills, business registration, and other legal documents as PDFs ready to share.
